New Ink is made of an ink bottle found in an 1800's dump in Brooklyn, telephone wire found in a dumpster in Manhattan and a Queens bottlecap.  
The LED digits are different sizes and colors and a pulsing LED is the second hand.
The bottle cap sets the time.
